Auxiliary Battery Power Supply

Does anyone have a good source for an auxiliary battery-pack for my mobile Apple Devices such as the iPhone, iPad, an iTouch.  I'm looking for one that doesn't plug-in to an electrical outlet either at home or in a car.  Just a pure battery pack for my mobile iOS devices.  I had one offered by Richard Solo online, but it wore-out quickly and then wouldn't retain or absorb any power after re-charging with an electrical outlet.
Thanks in advance.
Tony

I use a HyperJuice Mini when I travel.  Works great.  It fully charges an iPhone and gives about a 50% charge on an iPad2.  Comes in cool colors too.

  • Under battery power supply Tecra A7 works slowly

I have a notebook TECRA A7, and I have some problem with the battery. When I don't use alimentation AC, the notebook gets too slowly with programs like Netbeans.
How can I solve this problem?

    Hello
To save battery power and allow longer notebook usage Toshiba has designed Toshiba power saver tool. As you can see there are few different power profile available. If you use battery power supply it will be automatically switch to Normal profile and there is CPU speed set to lower level. You can change it manually and set to maximum performance.
NetBeans software is not known to me but it is possible that notebook runs slowly if software needs more CPU power.

  • Satellite C660 - WLAN disconnects on battery power supply

    HI
I have a new Satellite C660 which is a great wee machine BUT every time I disconnect the power cable the wireless connection looses the internet connection. Wireless is fine and all settings accurate. I have checked the amended the power settings and they are set to be ok whether on battery or power.
But still I cannot disconnect the power cable without losing the warless connection. The modem is still on and functioning and even more strongly I can access other peoples wireless connections whilst being off line.
    Please any ideas?
    Thanks

When you use notebook on battery power supply and use FN+F8 can you enable and disable WLAN module properly?
Ave you checked WLAN settings in device manager properties (click here )?

  • Re: Equium L350-10L - first start with battery power supply

I have just bought an Equium L350-10L. When it arrived it was powered up using the battery and the Windows installation began. However the battery expired and I cannot get past the "unexpected shut down" message even after rebooting.
How can I get back to square one and restart the installation process? Advice.

Oh buddy, so silly idea. I really can not understand you. After weeks or maybe months in the box, it is logic that battery can not run with full capacity.
Anyway, connect your notebook to AC power supply and leave it for a while. Start notebook again to see what will happen. If the setup procedure can not be finished start notebook again and press F8 immediately. Chose first option Repair my Computer and follow the menu on the screen. The OS will be installed again and you will be able to finish OS setup procedure.

  • New battery/power supply problems

i bought my ibook on ebay, put in some upgrades and am pretty happy with it. One thing keeps making me extrememly angry. Randomly, without warning, the power supply cuts out. When I look at the port, the light's still on. This wouldn't be so bad because usually the battery would kick in. However, mine came without a battery. So, everytime my power supply cuts, the computer shuts off. What's the problem?

Mike,Check your Energy Saver options (Apple Menu > System Preferences > Energy Saver > Options Tab > 'Schedule' make sure this isn't set to turn off your iBook.
I'd also try resetting the Power Management Unit. (Click this link and follow the instructions).
At least your clamshell's a good deal lighter! (Doesn't it tip back too easily without the weight under the front?).
The problem with running a machine like this is that the Clamshell has no internal battery (unlike every other Mac ever!) this means that you really do need the main battery for correct operation of the system. You'll be forever re-setting date/time etc so it may be worth inv a main battery - even if it's a really cheap one that only gives you 10 minutes run time - it will guard against this type of problem.

  • Satellite 2450-201 wont start with battery power supply

Can anyone please help, I cannot power up through the battery at all. When connecting the AC supply, the laptop powers up no problem. And after the intitial power up, I can switch to the battery without any problem. But it won't let me power up through the battery at all.
Can anyone advice, is there any settings that will help or do I need a new battery?

    Hi
How about the battery charging status?
    Is the battery fully charged?
Try to disconnect the AC adaptor and remove the battery from the notebook for a several time (15-30min) then plug the battery again and try to power up the notebook.
I think also you should check if the issue happens also with the new power pack. Possibly there is something wrong with the battery and you need a new one.
Sorry for such general suggestions but you know, we can only speculate about the issues.

  • Power Supply Isn't Charging the Battery

This is a rather tricky issue. It's happened before, a few weeks ago, but it had seemed to work itself out and began functioning normally. As I was playing Neverwinter Nights today, the iBook went to sleep. I had the Power Supply plugged in whilst I was playing, assuming that it was charging the iBook. As it was going to sleep, I would try to wake it up only for it to sleep again after a few seconds. I managed to save and exit the game, and I noticed it's at 0%. So I unplug the adaptor and replug it. It continues to go to sleep, so I shut the iBook down.
After a few hours of fiddling with it and checking for information online on my iMac, I managed to get it to charge to about 15%. At this point, I turned the iBook back on and tried to get it to continue charging, but it's slowly been working its way back down to 8% or so ever since.
What's strange is that the 'ring' on the plug lights up as Orange, but it doesn't charge. I've noticed if I leave the iBook and Power Supply plug alone, the charge indicator will sporadically change between 'Battery Life Indicator' to 'Battery Charge Indicator'. It's not like it flickers between the two, but every few seconds or so, it will change from one to the other, but it still steadily drains the battery. I've tried resetting the PMU, but it doesn't seem to have done anything with the situation. I also tried to diagnose if my Power Supply is bad by reading Apple's information pages on it.
One of the troubleshooting documents shows images of bent metal rings on the connector. I looked at mine, and the metal ring is separated at the tip ever so slightly, nowhere near as bad as in the images. I can't figure out what's wrong. Could anybody give me some help?

I have the very same problem - you could try someone else's charger if possible
did not work for me though
If you get any luck could you forward the reply to [email protected]
    cheers

  • Battery consumption in power supply operation

    Hello there.
i have a Problem with my MacBook Pro 15 i5 using Windows 7 with Bootcamp:
If i start my Mac with Windows 7 ( Power Supply and FULL Battery ) and start play a game ( for 2 or 3 hours ) the Battery is almost empty (Windows Info: "Power Supply Operation - Battery charing - 15% left") after quitting this game. So my Macbook has a Battery consumption during power supply operation. Why my Macbook is using the Battery instead of Power Supply ?
If i use Mac OS i dont have this problem. Just with Windows 7.
Why the Battery is almost empty after playing a game although i used Power Supply ?
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks

no ideas ? i really need help !

  • Can I keep plugging in my iphone to the power supply despite fully charged to reduce the battery cycle?

Since an iphone battery lasts for 300-500 cycles before losing its juice, can I just continuously connect my iphone to the power supply to avoid using the battery, like how I use my macbook.

  • My battery will not charge when plugged in to power supply. What's up??

I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro from my college, and have barely had it two months. One morning I started it up and it would not hold a charge. It will not remain on unless it is plugged into the power supply. If I unplug it while it's on it immediately shuts down.
Sometimes if it's plugged into the power supply for a while it will shut itself down un-announced.
I'm very frustrated, mostly because I just bought it and had Snow Leopard installed and everything. The message on my battery status simply says (Not Charging), though the icon says it's fully charged, and the light on the power supply is green. I'm very confused.
Any idea what's going on and how I can fix it? Is the battery simply not connecting, or is it shot already?

As the original post stated, "One morning I started it up and it would not hold a charge. It will not remain on unless it is plugged into the power supply. If I unplug it while it's on it immediately shuts down."
This is exactly what's happened to mine this morning. Last night everything is fine, remember seeing about 5 hrs remaining on the battery, plug it up but this morning will not remain on unless its plugged in. If I unplug it, it immediately shuts down.
My first thought was somehow I didn't plug it up or there was something wrong with the plug itself and the battery was drained but then I realized its working with the power cord so that's not the problem, only when on the battery.
How can a battery just crap out overnight???

  • I just got my iPhone 4 a week ago, and I realized that whenever the battery reaches 55% or less, it automatically shuts down. I have to charge it again to turn it on. I won't turn on unless there is an external power supply to it. Why is this so?

I got my iphone 4 a week ago, but i realized that whenever the battery reaches 55% it automatically turns off and will not turn on unless its connected to a power supply (AC charger or USB on pc). I tried hard resetting it but it did not work. Havent restored it. Any idea why is this so? I hope it has nothing to do with the battery.

    Hi,
Not that's not normal and is one of the Problems I was having before Restoring as New...
Just make sure you Sync ALL your important Info... Contacts... Music... Etc... to your Computer...
and then do a Restore as New...
i was a bit reluctant at First, because I hadn't done it before... But it was So Easy and am Really Glad I did...

  • HP DV7-1020US (Power supply/battery issues) Please help diagnose!

    Hi everyone,
I've read a lot of forum information about power issues/problems with this model laptop.
But have finally decided to post this question up here for some real HP support.
The problems started with the battery not being able to hold a charge. Shortly after, my brick started making a strange beeping
noise. I purchased a matching brick. I was able to get a few good minutes of charge and then every time after the laptop wouldn't power-up
at all. I'd just get flashing lights on the front (HD, Lightning bolt, Power). The lights would stop blinking after resetting the battery. I did some
research on laptop batteries and found that not allowing it to drain and then be recharged could cause it to go bad.
I purchased and received my new battery in the mail today. I am currently in the process of charging the new battery but have noticed
that the little lightning bolt light in the front of the laptop is NOT lighting up as it should when it's charging.
Is it NOT lighting up because both the battery and brick are after-market products?
I am going to allow the laptop with the new battery and brick to charge for 16 hours without attempting to turn it on.
I'm concerned that the system board or internal power supply might be having problems as well.
Has anyone encountered these type of power issues with this particular laptop?
Should I be able to run the laptop without the battery? That option has not worked for me.
Any assistance/guidance from you pro's out there would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!
    JUST WANTED TO ADD:
Laptop has been charging with new brick and battery for 8 hours straight and now, the battery indicator light is blinking.
I've tried removing the battery and reseating it but as soon as I plug the power back into the laptop the blinking begins again.

    Hi people!
I started having the same problem with my 1020us. Battery isn't charging (it's 91% available, when the battery reaches 35% the laptop power-off). The battery led in front panel blinks too when laptop is plugged in to AC adapter).
Another problem with HP.  I am so disappointed. =\

  • Humming sound coming from power supply after new battery update?!

i've heard of MB whining.. but not power supplies...
it's new with the latest battery update.
it stops when i touch the power supply.
it also stops when the processors rev up.
    is this normal??
it's annoying as ****, and it never used to do it.
    any help will do.

    Hi, Dan:
I don't have your model PC, so here are some generic instructions.
Turn on the PC and at the beginning of the HP welcome screen, tap the F10 key to gain access to the BIOS.
There should be a menu to Save Defaults and Exit, when you go to exit the BIOS.
That is all there is to it.
I can't find your model number to give you the link to the audio driver from the support and driver page.
If you have the IDT audio chip, below is the latest driver for it.
Or let me know what model audio device you have and I'll see what I can find if it is not the IDT audio.
